Welcome to

Coffeehouse Fantasy

Have you ever been in a coffeehouse, reading a fantasy book, wishing all of life could be so? That you never had to leave, the coffee would keep flowing, the books would keep coming, and the minstrel keep strumming?

You’re not alone.

And as you sipped & read & refilled & read on, have you ever thought, ‘Someone should write fantasy books about characters gathered in a coffeehouse, sharing their stories.’ The dangers and delights of a fantasy world, told by those who survived from the comfort of the very first coffeehouse in all the realm.

What revelry would it be to read such stories?

Your dream is here, at the Haven. Where it’s always time for great coffee and riveting reads. Where fiction and reality blend like cream and coffee in your mug. I cannot say what you may find, or whether you’re better off in your realm or this one. That is up to you. For here is a place for reading fantasy books about folk in a coffeehouse, telling fantasy stories of all that beleaguered them before finally making it to the Haven themselves. First of its kind, last in the land, serving up a newly discovered dark brew to weary travelers.

Are you weary, traveler? Join us here, where you belong. Where the realm is being reborn. Where we find out if this last stand is to be our end, or the dawn of something new.

Have you come here to escape? To heal? Or has the last light in life gone out, resigning you to the darkness? I’ve seen all kinds here over the years. I wish I could promise you’ll find the answers you seek. I know not whether they’re here, but hope and comfort are.

And what you will find is the company of other seekers. Some say we hide behind masks here. But from my spot behind the counter, this is the only place I see folk drop them and reveal their true selves.

Where to go, what the future holds, what we even want–such confoundments abound. Such is life in this ever-changing tumultuous land. Some are painfully aware of what they lost, while others cannot even voice their yearning, knowing only that something vital is missing.

Take heart, take heart! For I am pleased to welcome you, and we’re all blessed to have a part. From many lands and varying pasts come we, bound by this one thing on which all agree–we are meant for far more than what we presently see.

Don’t stop, brothers & sisters. Wherever you are on the journey–embark, press on, finish the work at hand.

After taking your ease and resting here for a good long spell, of course.
